This bowl was hand thrown on the wheel and then altered by hand to create a flowery silhouette. Glazed with a pale purple that breaks blue on both the inside and out. The glaze gives a lot of movement and an almost pearlescent character to the piece.
This vessel can be used functionally as a serving dish or makes a beautiful decorative item as well.
